HM World City, JP Nagar 9th Phase, Bangalore
Aabahan is the annual Durga Pujo and Dasara celebration at HM World City, bringing residents and families together to experience culture, devotion, and community bonding. Rooted in tradition, Aabahan welcomes Maa Durga through shared rituals, cultural performances, and festive moments that celebrate our heritage.
Durga Pujo and Dasara come together at Aabahan to reflect the cultural diversity of our community, uniting different regional traditions and ways of celebrating the victory of good over evil. This shared celebration makes Aabahan a truly inclusive community festival at HM World City, where people from varied backgrounds come together in one festive spirit.
Organised by volunteers from HM World City, Aabahan reflects the true strength of community — with women and men working side by side to create a warm and meaningful Durga Pujo and Dasara celebration. With the presence of respected guests like Priyanka Upendra, Aabahan continues to grow as a vibrant cultural festival in HM World City, where tradition, togetherness, and joy come alive every year.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful resident, Gurupriya, for sharing the beautiful tradition of Gombe Habba with the Aabahan family. By bringing the spirit of Dasara into our Durga Pujo celebrations, she created a truly special moment where cultures met and traditions blended seamlessly.
Her thoughtful Gombe display added colour, meaning, and depth to our celebrations, reminding us that Aabahan is not just a festival, but a shared space where every tradition is respected, every culture is welcomed, and every resident feels a sense of belonging.
This is the spirit of Aabahan — neighbours becoming family, and diverse traditions coming together to create memories that will stay with us for years to come.
Thank you, Gurupriya, for enriching our celebration with your warmth, effort, and heart.
